Gemma McCluskie, a former "EastEnders" actress, was murdered and dumped in a canal after attending a high-profile hospital opening ceremony.
The brother of ?EastEnders? actress Gemma McCluskie, whose headless body was found in an east London canal, has been charged with her murder, British media reported Saturday.
The BBC said that Tony McCluskie, 35, of Hackney is due to appear in Thames Magistrates? Court on Monday.
He is accused of murdering his 29-year-old sister, who starred as Kerry Skinner in 30 episodes of the BBC soap opera in 2001. She continued to make personal appearances, most recently March 1 at the opening of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, the last place she was seen alive, according to Sky News.
Her body was discovered Tuesday in Regent?s Canal in Hackney. Her head, arms and legs had been hacked off, the Guardian of London reported.
Divers on Saturday were still searching for her remaining parts, Sky News said.
