After turning 32 and tipping the scale at 350lbs, I was done being fat, but didn?t want to spend the time or money to fix it. I could find every excuse in the book why it made sense to not lose weight. I had been okay with living ?fat and happy? until I realized I couldn?t walk up my stairs, it hurt my feet too much. The smallest errands wore me out, and I had become a heavy breather, all the time. Some days,I didn?t even want to leave the house.

With my husband leaving town for school I was going to quickly find myself being a single mom of a 13 and 5 year old, and I had to change fast. So I cleaned up my diet, and worked out. Every day. Unless I was injured, throwing up or fainting, there was no stopping! No more excuses.

Always made time for myself, even if it meant being at the gym until 2am. I am now into day 13 of a 5k training program and loving it. I plan on running my first 5k in Summer of 2013. You?ll also find me climbing the Mt Alyeska trail under the tram and on the ?Bird to Gird? bike trail.

Im still 100 lbs from my goal weight, but am still going strong. Body Renew and its amazing staff keep it easy to keep on the right path. Thank you everyone at BR!
